Stephanie fell in love with the violin at age 3 when she first heard its sound at a National Arts Center Pops concert. Shortly after, she began taking lessons and progressed through the National Capital Suzuki School of Music. Having worked her way through all the National Capital Music Academy orchestras, she spent three years as violinist in the Ottawa Youth Orchestra, two of which as a principal second violinist. A frequent and successful competitor of the Kiwanis Music Festival, Stephanie completed several exams in both performance and theory with the Royal Conservatory of Music. Along with Stephanie's career in violin, she added the piano and flute to her instrumental repertoire. Her passion for music led her to the University of Western Ontario where she completed a B.A. in Music Administrative Studies. Upon her return to Ottawa after a tour of Europe and it's musical heritage, she resumed the expansion of her private studio teaching violin, piano and flute. Stephanie's talents extend to dance and business management.
